About Cannavision Institute

An Industry For All.

The legal cannabis industry has surpassed $36 billion, making it, by market size, the third largest in the world. Not since the genesis of Big Oil in the 19th century has so much wealth moved so quickly. But the industry is at an inflection point. Disparate regulations and non-existent standards have created a vacuum, devoid of accountability and consistency.

Cannabis needs leaders. From horticulture, production and chemical extraction to the frontlines in dispensary administration, there is a need for skilled and educated practitioners. At Cannavision Institute, we advocate for an evidence-based, science-first approach to research, learning and study, so our graduates can positively affect the industry today while seizing the opportunities of tomorrow.

  • Cannabis Compliance & Administration - Diploma

The Cannabis Compliance and Administration programs readies you for the complex cannabis landscape.

Cannabis growth, cultivation and distribution may be legal in 38 states, but the industry is still laden with regulations, restrictions and rules. Cannavision Institute provides the Cannabis Compliance and Administration program to give you everything you need to navigate the paths from seed to sale. From a rich background in cannabis history to local, federal and state law advocacy, we teach the tools employers and entrepreneurs need to ensure that their cannabis success is compliant and legal.

The 7-month Cannabis Compliance Administration program assists with understanding the alignment of cannabis with state and federal laws that regulate distribution to consumers. This program prepares students for working within a governing agency overseeing cannabis regulatory affairs. Students should acquire skills to interact with and educate cannabis clients in a regulated environment and the foundational knowledge to pursue additional careers in the cannabis industry. Students seeking employment in this field must be 21 years or older and comply with regulations regarding a criminal background check. In addition, the program could prepare students for employment in the transportation, logistics and supply chain management for the cannabis industry.
