The objective of the Criminal Justice degree program is to provide students with the knowledge and skills to enter the workforce or to pursue a more advanced degree in criminal justice. Required coursework builds a foundation in criminal justice theory and crime, the practice of law enforcement and the U.S. judicial system. After completing this criminal justice associate degree program, you will be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of law enforcement, corrections, investigations and juvenile justice. You’ll have the core understanding you need to be successful in the field of criminal justice or to pursue a more advanced degree.
At 60 credit hours, your associate in criminal justice program is designed to be completed in 24 months. It could take less time depending on how much transfer credit you receive and how many classes you take every term.
